Barcelona, 1969.

One day, ten years ago, I made the decision to leave the city (Barcelona) and search for the peace and quiet of the countryside, of the open spaces. I needed it. I was an "urban person" although I carried the nature inside. I was destined to the business world, which was my natural environment but I rose up against that possibility. To relinquish everything and devote fully to Art. It was a wise decision.

Now, I live and I consider myself from Alcover (Tarragona), the town of my father and ancestors, at the gates of the mountains of Prades, a humid landscape, with plenty of vegetation, cleaved by the river Glorieta, which flows into the river Francolí, where I got married and set up my family.

In my travels I got to know Montblanc, capital of the Conca de Barberà, and from the first moment I fell in love with the town. I didn't hesitate and I set up my second studio. Montblanc is a town of a medieval nature, of great historic importance, where the first Courts of Cataluña were held.
